Conceived and shot by Hardcuore, this video tkes place entirely in the realm of Google Earth and Google Street View. The idea to use Google Earth was actually a way to stick to Banda Tereza’s budget. The initial idea was to shoot the band playing at different beaches throughout Brazil, from the most popular to the most exotic. However, the cost of this was way over budget; so, the idea of using Google Earth came up, which made it possible for us to use new locations that range from Bahia to Tokyo to Hawaii, and allowed us to insert some unexpected things into the actual sets, such as a killer whale swimming in a lake in Hawaii or a dinosaur on the sidewalks of Tokyo. The band was filmed in studio in front of printed images from Google Earth of actual locations that served as background, which were then digitally re-cut so the band would blend with the people in the original photographs. The song is about the summer weather and the smell of Sandau, the Brazilian nickname for a well-known sun block.
