Beefeater is the most awarded London gin in the world, with over 200 years of history. The brand represents pure tradition and is present in over 100 countries. Currently, it is also the only London Dry Gin distillery still in operation today in central London.
Following the tendency of the alcoholic beverage market to innovate and launch products for an increasingly segmented public, the brand has developed Beefeater Botanics - a drink with less alcohol, fewer calories, and made only with natural ingredients. It offers a more refreshing and smooth option without added sugar, incorporating nine traditional botanicals into its composition.
Hardcuore was invited to create the launch campaign for this new product. The main piece of the Beefeater Botanics campaign is a film that presents the different occasions for drinking the beverage, awakening desire in consumers through scenes of appetizing appeal.
To make the film more dynamic, we use motion control technology. During most scenes, the camera is controlled by a robotic arm, capturing precise, consistent, and more complex rotational movements.
We explored the "match cut" as the main resource for transitioning scenes, creating a connection between them and a narrative connection between the characters. After all, they all share the same dilemmas: the hectic life and the search for balance that Beefeater Botanics provides.
